Ride details from Ellis for Saturday, October 9

We will meet at Willowbrook at 8-8:15 then stop in Madison at Old Time Pottery (on the right after the Wall Triana intersection if you're going west on 20 or Madison Blvd at 8:45-9:00 to meet up with any guys who live over that way.

Then we'll be off to Tuscombia by way of 565 to 20 out of Decatur, then to a great place to eat, very interesting called Rattlesnake Saloon, then we'll be close to the 72/ Natchez Trace entrance. (Editor's note: I think the place is in color now)

There's still some details to work on the route back, but its looking like 200 miles+ so dress warm & meet y'all at 8am (or 8:45 at Old Time Pottery)!

Ride this Saturday - 9 October

Still figuring out where we're going, but looking at a 150-200mi in perfect weather.

Meet at the Willowbrook parking lot (see map below) at 8am gassed up and ready to ride.  Stay tuned here for more info about the route.

Correction about the Band

OK, I was wrong about the Band being Juice.

It's still Bobby Taylor, but with another band (whose name remains a mystery) that's a little less funky and a little more rockin', as in the Classic Rock flavor of rockin'.

See you there!

Redstone Riders Charity Run

News from Joe Serio, member of both the Willowbrook Riders and the famed Redstone Riders.

The Redstone Riders Charity Ride is this coming Saturday (3/27).  The ride starts at Chips & Salsa Restaurant on Bailey Cove Road

The event opens at 10AM and the first bikes go out at 11AM.

The route is about 100 miles and takes about 3 hours to run.  Joe rode the route last weekend and says it was a lot of fun with plenty of twisties.

Plan to arrive at Chips and Salsa around 10AM with a full tank of gas.  The registration fee is $10 and
you may want to spend a couple of bucks to buy tickets for the numerous door prizes to be awarded around 3:30PM.  After we meet up with Joe we will pray and then leave on the run around 11AM.

I'll update the post later to include the poster and the ride route.

Rally Band

Exciting news - we've confirmed that Music will be provided by none other than Huntsville's funkiest live band - JUICE!

Get some info about Bobby and the rest of the band on their Facebook page here, and you can try to click on the link for the band's official site, but it didn't work for me.

These guys are the real deal, ride on over!
